Well I have finally taken the time to set up a blog! I have now been in the YWAM base at University Of The Nations in Kona, Hawaii for a month now. I am finally starting to get the hang of things. It has all been very new and exciting, there are people here from all different nations of the world. Three of my roomates are from Japan and two are Korean Americans, so I am being exposed to many different cultures. Each week we have a different speaker come and speak with us for about 3 to 4 hrs everyday. I feel as if my mind has been opened up to a whole new view of the world and God. It has been very exciting, I am being stretched in many different areas which in turn is helping me to grow and learn. The most powerfull thing i feel that i have learned so far is that of the power of prayer. I have learned I have always underestimated prayer and the power that it can have. If we simply pray for God to do something only if it is his "will" we are then understimating the power of God and not really believing that he will do what we are asking of him. I am working on increasing my prayer life and it is opening up so many more ideas and blessings.
